OPTIMA Fields – Alabama Input Efficiency Project
This project aims to evaluate the environmental and productivity impacts of varying nitrogen and seeding rates across eight farms in Alabama. Using the Fieldprint Calculator, the research team will track sustainability metrics including soil conservation, GHG emissions, and water use efficiency. The project will support informed decisions to improve profitability and environmental outcomes. Data will be entered by the research team, while growers retain access to view their field results.
