Cotton Incorporated Louisiana Sustainability Project

Cotton Incorporated is committed to building on the effectiveness of the Field to Market and NRCS tools for continuous improvement by assuring farms that grow cotton meet responsible production criteria. The Cotton Incorporated Louisiana Sustainability Project started with the first iteration of the Fiedlprint Calculator as a research project used to test the validity and efficacy of the calculator and how well it tracks with farmer experiences. This legacy project is a basis for the current cooperative project with Cotton incorporated, the Cotton Foundation (National Cotton Council) and NRCS. The vision is to maximize involvement of Louisiana cotton farmers, collect maximum representative field information and eventually collect sufficient quality information that can be used for claims.
